Burry's birthday happen to fall on the night of the local Nickelback concert. I like Nickelback and I love to celebrate birthdays so why not?!
I hadn't quite put much other thought into this concert other than that. Once we got to the concert, I notice that I might be out of my element. This was not like other concerts I had been to. This was a ROCK concert! The opening bands were very rock. Lots of screeching...fans in a mosh pit!
Burry's favorite band since she was in high school is Bush with hot lead singer Gavin Rossdale. They happen to be opening right before Nickelback. :) The highlight was Gavin literally scaled the audience!
The Nickelback came on. About halfway through their performance, they moved to a mobile stage almost right in front of us! It was so cool and made our seats a whole lot better!
What a great first rock concert! :)
