Food Truck Cook-Off

Amber, Burry, Cam, and I headed to the Food Truck Cook-Off on May 5.Now that I work in Crystal City, I hear more about food trucks, especially the popular lobster roll truck. So needless to say I was intrigued to go check out all that D.C. has to offer in food truck cuisine! haha.

I was surprised at how many different kinds of food there were. Some were really complex for a food truck! I had a great chickpea wrap and samosa. Yum!

Then for dessert, I really wanted a cupcake. Cam said we had to try Curbside Cupcake. They happen to have a "Tequila Sunrise" cupcake-perfect for Cinco de Mayo! I thought it was a wonderfully, light cupcake for summertime. Cam said, "I can make better!" haha. I don't doubt she can. Have you checked out her food blog?
