January 2015 Recap and Photos

January seriously feels like a blur. I was sick for most of the month, it was cold as hell and William was still a colicky baby. Throw in some holidays, my birthday and Matt's mom visiting and it was just busy and tiring!

The birthday falls shortly after New Year's (and it was a Saturday this year and I turned 30!). I ended up hanging out with my friends that day and celebrating with my family the next day (more on that in my next post).

The last weekend in January, Matt's mom came to visit. That week, we had finally took William to the doctor to have his skin checked out. We were given some antibiotics to help clear his skin infection up and sent to an allergist for testing to rule out any allergies. My poor baby!

Some growth updates:  He weighed 13 lbs. 6 oz. (20th percentile) and still 24 inches long (20th percentile) at his January appointment (for his skin infection). Mostly six-month clothing now. Still long and lean, but now he's on the small side! No more big baby here.

We started putting William in his jumper (which we gave him for Christmas).
He's a little small still.

Someone discovered his thumb!
Playing cards already!

Really starting to interact with toys (and his hands).

First trip to the bowling alley!
