The Bump Progression

I tried to take a weekly photo while I was pregnant. It didn't quite happen every week, but here are some photos from throughout my pregnancy so you can see the progression.

I have to say, once I got passed the little bit of nausea and some headaches I had in the beginning, it really wasn't horrible. I think one of the biggest things was I hurt my neck early on in my pregnancy and I just thought it was part of pregnancy. Well, months later, I realized that I just hurt my neck and it wasn't healing. It still hurts occasionally to this day. My pregnancy probably would have been a little easier without that. Otherwise, I really didn't feel all that pregnant (even at nine months!).

Also, near the end, my feet and ankles got HUGE! I have shoes that I bought during that last month and they don't fit now! Thank goodness my feet returned to normal afterward.

I really didn't have any food cravings. In the beginning, I thought salty things tasted like the best thing ever. That was probably my first sign that I was pregnant (before I even took a test); well that and the fact that I was super tired in the beginning--like 8 p.m. bedtime tired... Also, I got really picky about chicken for a while, but really nothing bothered me too much.

Throughout my pregnancy though, I was hotter than usual. I was so incredibly thankful that we had a very mild summer here in D.C.

So here's the progression. Please excuse the blurry photos. Matt's not the greatest photographer...
