Last birthday in my 20s!

After Matt and I got back from Florida, I jumped back into work. Even though I got sick the day we headed home, I had been off of work for nearly three weeks. I felt I had to return. This was probably not for the best because that cold lasted forever! Needless to say, I was sick on my birthday. Nothing really tasted that great and I was miserable. My family wanted to celebrate though (it was a Friday night after all), so my mom cooked my Grandma Christie's spaghetti and meatball recipe (for the first time!) and we had a good night.

Mom had party hats for some reason and maybe I was sick, but the others had no excuse for why we wore them most of the night. haha. My sister also had a new "Big Bang Theory" game, which we played. It's trivia and boy do we not know all the details of that show even though we all love it!

So I'm officially 29 now. Only one more year (well 11 months now) before I hit the big 3-0. Yikes! So many things I still want to do with life before really settling down and having a family. Oh well. I shall make the most of this year!
