The Pig

I missed my friend Cam's birthday dinner and she had postponed her happy hour plans (it was kind of rainy and gross out on her birthday unfortunately), so I was all for joining her when she rescheduled her happy hour. It was her "not my birthday" happy hour. haha. The others who came were all coworkers of Cam's. I loved meeting her one coworker, Cameron. He cracks me up!

So Cam picked a restaurant called, The Pig. How fitting because in college we called her the "Garbage Disposal."So not surprisingly this restaurant specialized in pork. I didn't consider myself a lover of pork, but after Thanksgiving, where I ate more ham than turkey, and now this restaurant, I think I am changed! I loved this restaurant! They had a hard cider, which was delicious (honestly, is there alcohol in that? It was like drinking juice!). I just ordered from their happy hour menu, but boy was it a good menu. I got the ham and biscuit with honey butter...um, it melted in my mouth it was so good! I just want some more salty ham goodness right now. Others ordered pork BBQ sandwiches and meatballs with grits (I must try this next time!). Everything looked amazing!
