Where did Fall go?

We have been especially lucky to have an extended late summer/fall. The weather in Virginia has truly been amazing and I can't complain (I HATE cold weather). I can probably count on one hand the number of times I had to bust out my weather coat and it's almost Thanksgiving!

This week, however, was the first time it truly felt like winter was coming...or should I say here already? Where did fall go? Why couldn't it stay?

This year, more than I ever, I enjoyed getting out in nature and taking in the beautiful colors of this area. Here are a few of my recent pics.

 Hoping the weather would still be nice in early November (and it was!), Julia and I ventured out in the park near her house for a walk on Saturday morning. It was beautiful and I was so glad we took time to take a few photos.
