TGIF

This Week's Thoughts: It's been a little while since I blogged for one big reason--my 10-year high school reunion! I was a co-planner for this reunion (our first since graduating high school) so I was quite busy with the planning and details of it all. The reunion was last weekend (I'll post more later!). I'm relieved it's over and that everyone had a good time. I always worry too much if people are going to enjoy an event I'm planning. Love event planning, but I think I'll always worry!

Post reunion, I've had a busy week (and upcoming weekend!). I've been trying to wrap up some of the reunion stuff, but haven't had time to finish just yet. My aunt and uncle were in town the same weekend as the reunion, so much of the rest of my weekend went to spending time with them. Work has also been particularly busy (yay, I like being busy), but wish I had a little less tiring work week this week with all I have to do after hours.

This weekend, is just as busy! Last night was my friend Yelena's birthday and we celebrated with amazing Indian food (Nom, nom, nom!). There may have been a flare-type candle, some horrible singing and an awkward handshake involved (more photos to come!).

Tonight I get to see Carolina (in town from Sweden!) and Burry (and her new BF Ricky). Saturday is a doubleheader with apple picking with Ashley, Makayla and Mom and then line dancing/Halloween party with Burry (and Dean, my favorite local country artist!). Lastly, on Sunday, my friend Anh is running her first marathon. I'm headed out to cheer her on! Go Anh, go!

Phew, I'm tired just thinking about all the events piled into one weekend. Wish me luck and patience from Matt. Poor guy will be missing me after my crazy friend's weekend. He missed out on much because he works late and on Saturdays and well he hates country music, so boo to him for that! Haha, no I really love him.

Why is it that everything happens in spurts of crazy busy? Oh well, love the adventures I have with my friends.

What I'm Reading:

On Nook: Inferno. Still reading this mother of a book (500+ pages, oh my! guess I'm used to cozies now!) for my apartment complex book club (ACBC from now on??). Gosh, I hope I finish it in time for the book club on Wednesday. I've still got so much more to go and with my busy weekend, I'm not sure how much reading I'll get done. Hhmm, typical Dan Brown there's lots of city exploring/racing around...do you think I can just skip ahead a hundred pages? Haha, I joke, I would never do that, I'm too anal about reading a book from start to finish and almost always I feel a compulsion to finish a book even if I don't like it. Why?? I don't know...Anyways, wish me luck! Must focus to finish! I don't want to be delinquent on my first ever in person book club meeting!
