Happy Birthday America!

With all we had going on this past month and coming up the following weekend, we had a low key Fourth of July with the family. We contemplated going to see fireworks at a local park or just watching them on TV (did I mention Cher was performing in New York!!).

We ended up having a barbeque at my parents' house and then went to play tennis. By the time we got back, we all just wanted to relax at home. This turned out great though since our neighbors had some pretty fantastic fireworks! I'd say some of them were not from around here...

It was a neighborhood show--everyone out in their yard watching. We made popcorn, so it was like a show. :) Afterward, we watched D.C. and New York fireworks on TV. I even got to see Cher (love her!).
