Eating: Ice cream! While I used to not eat a ton of ice cream, I've found that I can eat ice cream again and I'm loving it! I still probably shouldn't eat it as it's so bad for me, but oh well. I love chocolate ice cream with peanut butter in it. OMG, creamy peanut butter scooped right in the ice cream! I'm drooling right now just thinking about it.
Watching: The Big Bang Theory. Ok, where have Matt and I been living? Under a rock? Why has it taken us so long to discover this awesome show?! I got the first season on Netflix so that I could see what it was all about. My family loves the show and talks about it all the time; I had to see what it was all about. Oh my, Matt and I love it and crack up every episode! We're starting season two now and can't wait to keep watching (and laughing!).
Reading: Just finished an always great Murder She Wrote novel--this time a more modern one, Madison Avenue Shoot, which included Jessica's grandnephew-so cute! But on to what I'm reading now...
On Nook: I've just got my Nook back from my mom and am excited to read a book by an author whom I had read before. Staying Home is a Killer by Sara Rosett is the second in the series and was on sale so I couldn't resist buying (plus it qualifies for quite a few of the current reading challenges from my groups on Goodreads). The series says it is "a mom zone mystery" whatever that is, but my description would be a series about a military wife and mother. Anticipating: I'm eagerly anticipating going to the Nationals game at the end of September. I've only gone twice this year so far. :( This is another Nats concert series game so Dierks Bentley will be playing afterward. Should be good. I'll be sure to bring my "Natitude!"
No so eagerly anticipating, we found out that Matt will have to have back surgery again. We're not sure when just yet. Hopefully we'll find out this week and put all plans in place. Luckily it's not as serious of a surgery as we had thought he might need. Still not a good thing to be going to surgery again so soon. :( At least this time he's on a PPO so he can get a surgery scheduled quickly vs. waiting for the HMO. Praying for a speedy recovery for my love.
