One Year Down!

So this is a little late, as Matt and I celebrated our one year anniversary at the end of June, but hey-we've been busy this summer!

I can't believe that Matt and I have now been married for a year! It's crazy how time flies.

We were driving back from Virginia Beach and got a big cheers from my family as the clock struck midnight on our anniversary! :) I think I was half asleep for this. haha.

Here's a picture of our anniversary cake, a mini-version of our wedding cake. It was made by our wedding cake baker, who we love!

As I think back on this past year, so much has happened in our lives (and well the lives of our families who we celebrate with!).

Here's a little recap of our favorite highlights:

• June 26, 2011: We got married! 
• July 7-11, 2011: Our honeymoon cruise to Canada and stop in NYC! I think NYC is one of my new favorite places.
• December 2011: Matt's brother and Laurene got engaged. We are soooo excited for them and can't wait for Cancun in January!
• January 2012: I started my new job at the Council for Exceptional Children.
• March 31, 2012: My sister and Ryan got married!
• June 2012: Matt started his new job as an apartment leasing agent. Huge change from teaching and he's loving it.

So much more happened in this year. We had ups and downs and great memories that we will take with us for years to come. We hope that our family and friends continue to be a huge part of our lives and continue to create great memories with us as we celebrate many more years!
