I've starting receiving Fitness Magazine and I must say, I really do love this magazine. It not only has some awesome workout tips, but there are some great nutrition tips as well.
One recent article was on yogurt. Ask my friends, my family, my coworkers-I HATE yogurt. Actually, I've used the words, "It freaks me out" in reference to yogurt. I've heard the lectures about what a miracle food it is, but I just couldn't get past the idea that it was a....bacteria! So I almost passed over this "Get Cultured" article, but decided that in my recent healthy eating lifestyle, I should at least read the article. The article was convincing with 10 reasons why yogurt is good for you (reasons such as it has vitamins, proteins, calcium, lowers your blood pressure, gives you flat abs). I was so convincing I even BOUGHT and ATE some yogurt since reading it and I must say, it's not that bad. I might have conquered my yogurt fear!
If you are already a yogurt eater or looking to start, here are some quick tips (thanks to Fitness Magazine) for picking a healthy yogurt (yes, some are better than others).
