William has been walking like a champ since about 13 months (just a bit before). One day, he was just ready and he went from a step here or there to full on walk (running) like he'd been walking forever. He's getting better about holding our hands when we're outside (we're starting him early!).
He knows that the Christmas ornaments go on the tree, he attempts to put his hat and socks on (after taking them off) and he can get onto any of his car-like vehicles all my himself now.
Current vocabulary: Pawpaw, dada (a favorite), night-night, ball, more, baba (bottle), puppy, kitkat (cat), bye, and mommy (which he finally said with excitement when I came home one day this week! Matt gets 'dada' every day, so I was very excited to finally get the same welcome). William will sing in the car along with the music. It's quite possibly the cutest thing ever.
Food is still a challenge, this kid is not a foodie...he loves pears and bananas though and OMG does he love cheese and crackers. He still only has six teeth (4 top and 2 bottom, which all came in at once starting at 11 months), but he can eat pretty well with those sharp suckers.
Mickey is still a favorite and we've watched the holiday Mickey specials 10,000+ times already (he is still mesmerized EVERY TIME!).
I could not ask for a better toddler (sniff, where's my baby?!). He is so good! Antsy at times, but truly an amazing kid. His laughs are contagious and his smile lights up a room. Happy 14 months, William! We love you to the moon and back!
