Merry Christmas, everyone!
I hope everyone is enjoying some time off with family and friends. Matt and I have a few days off over the next week and we are filling it with fun activities and time with family. Here's a little bit of a festive post in the spirit of Christmas--William's Christmas list!In all reality, William really doesn't need much. He has wonderful friends and family that spoil him, as do we, and my friend let's us borrow so many great things for him. This kid has it made! But here are a few things he needed and a few indulgences he got for Christmas!
1. Little Tikes 4-in-1 Ride On: So I may have been inspired by the unseasonably warm weather we've had lately to go ahead and buy William a little tricycle for Christmas. I said I wasn't going to go overboard for this Christmas and I may have lied; I got a little swept up in the Christmas spirit! I can't wait to try this out with William. Hopefully we have a little more warm weather before the winter sets in.
2. Carter's Fleece Footed Pajamas: As we near cold weather, we needed to revamp William's pj options. I love the Carter's separates for current weather, but it gets really cold in our condo so we really need footed, fleece pjs for the little guy and we only had one pair! So we asked Santa (and maybe Grandma Dee Dee) for some new pjs. We got these cute options to get in the Christmas spirit!
3. Crayola My First Mickey Markers and Paper: Ok, so this one may be wishful thinking on my part, but I'm trying to get some things that may keep William's interest for more than five seconds (other than TV) and help develop his motor skills. He's so active, but yet doesn't really play too long with each toy. I'll try these and report back after the holidays. My guess is he will need to be supervised for a while with these because he will try to eat the markers. #everythinginhismouth #always.
4. Socks: With winter approaching, I needed to update William's sock selection. His socks are all around the ankle length which is fine at the moment, but I was really hoping to find some that fit his feet but are longer so his little legs don't freeze once it finally gets cold here. I picked some up at Target. Not sure they were these exact ones, but these are mighty cute (I love stars!).
5. More touch and feel books: He's obsessed and now thinks all books are touch and feel. haha. We love this brand, Make Believe Ideas! I found them at Home Goods on the cheap. In true William fashion (everything goes in his mouth), he now licks the touch parts of the books. haha. I so want to buy more, but we got William a ton of books for Hanukkah/Christmas so he's good for a while. #Ihaveaproblem
6. Delta Children Cars Rocking Chair - Lightning McQueen: William loves watching TV. As much as we love TV, I can't really blame the kid. While we try to play with other things, he does watch TV. Oh well. So my mom got him this cute little chair for him to sit in while he watches (he tends to stand right in front of the TV now). It's so cute. And he has clearly mastered the whole man/TV thing already!
