Currently

I'm so ridiculously behind on my posts, but I thought today I would do a brief rundown of life as of late.

Loving: Matt. With it being cold outside, I've had lots of quality time with Matt in our little apartment. Gosh does that guy make me laugh. We have so much fun together. It's the little moments right before bed that I love the most.

Eating: Well, it's really drinking...I'm sick yet again so lots of tea! In January, I was sick for a good portion of the month with a cold (I went to the doc. He said, "Just a cold."). In that time, I got some green tea that was amazing! I've nearly used it all already. I might have to try some more teas from Mighty Leaf. Oh, I guess I have been eating a lot of soup lately too. Being sick, soup and tea seem to be staples. Luckily the cafe attached to my office building has the most amazing homemade soups. If you are in D.C. for lunch, you must check Lawsons Cafe out...or if you want delicious baked goods, they are great too.

Watching: American Idol! I'm pretty sure that I always post about singing competitions, but I love them so. This year's American Idol is so much better than the last few years. I wasn't a fan of Jennifer Lopez as a judge before, but to be honest, I think it was just the combination of judges. With Jennifer, Keith Urban and my new love, Harry Connick, Jr, they are a great team. Harry is quite possibly my favorite judge of all time! Love him!

Reading: January was a slow month for me (see note above about being sick). I really just didn't feel like doing much when I got home in the evenings. Even on my commute, I just wanted to rest. I'm trying to pick up steam now though and have caught up a little on my reading list.

On Audiobook: Mini Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella. I read all the others in this series except this one. I was browsing free digital and audio books from the library and came across it. Must read!

In Hardback: Someone Else's Love Story by Joshilyn Jackson. I love love love Joshilyn Jackson. I received her latest book as a Christmas present and can't wait to jump in.

On Nook: Getting Away is Deadly by Sara Rosett. I've read some of her other books and when this one was cheap on Nook, I thought why not. It does take place in D.C. after all. :)

Anticipating: A lovely Valentine's dinner with my college friends. It's not actually on Valentine's Day, but close enough that we thought we'd make our now monthly dinner this month a Valentine's theme.

Oh and also anticipating the snowPAXalypse that is headed our way. They've been saying we'd have snow for  many storms this winter and haven't gotten anything worth while. I'll believe it when I see it!
