Lake Fairfax in the Fall

My aunt and uncle were in town the same weekend as my reunion events. I was excited, as always, to see them. On a Sunday when  my sisters and I try to run in the morning (um, it's really not consistent, so I can't claims it's a weekly thing...), my aunt and uncle wanted to get outside too. So my sister, Jenna, suggested we head over to Lake Fairfax (ironically, I had just been there the day before for the reunion picnic).

It was a beautiful day out! We had fun running through the woods, but it was quite hazardous. I think we did more walking so we wouldn't get hurt. Still it was great to get outside and enjoy the weather. We've had amazing weather so far this fall so I can't complain. Heck, it's November and I was wearing short sleeves still. Yay! I just hope this doesn't mean winter will go longer into March/April.

Sisters who stretch together, stay together!

Can you spot the toad?
I think Grandma was cold!

Grandma's on the move!
