Well, little did we know just how hard it would be. We left Herndon about 6 p.m. (a little later than we wanted to, but we were off). OMG, I'm so glad we bought dinner before we left because it took us three hours to get there! We had to eat in the car! Traffic was just horrible and once we finally got to our last turn, a car stalled in front of us. Once we got to the parking lot, we had a limo in front of us that took extra time. We parked way in the back--I wasn't even sure it was still Jiffy Lube Live's parking lot!
Sadly, we missed Kelly completely. I'm still trying to recover from this and can't listen to her music yet. :( When we finally got to our seats, Maroon 5 was just coming on so everyone is screaming and there were people in our seats! Seriously, this concert was not going well. So the people claimed they had tickets for the seats next to us so we just scooted down. Well, the people's whose seats we were in finally came back. We ended up just jumping up two rows, which was an easy solution.
Maroon 5, and Adam Levine, did not disappoint--well he didn't take his shirt off, but the music was amazing! I forget how many great songs they have. The girls behind us were so much fun.
Overall, the concert was a bit disappointing and I'm pretty much never going to Jiffy Lube Live ever again, but it's a great story to tell and great bonding time with two awesome friends.
| So the nice guy whose seat we were in offered to take our picture--so nice. Lame people who stole our seats gave us bunny ears. So annoying. |
