Let's Play Ball!

My grandma loves baseball! It's one of the things she always talks about. Her current phrase since last year has been "Wammit Dammit!" Well now that she lives here at Washington, D.C., she still watches the Reds on TV, but has fewer opportunities to see them live.

The weekend of Matt's birthday, the Reds played the Nationals. My aunt came to town and we all went to the game on Saturday. It was a beautiful day!

I'm not sure Grandma truly understands who is who when she watches, but she at least looked like she was having fun.

Nationals won the day we went to the game. There were nearly 39,000 people at the game. I think this year the Nats are going to have great fans!
