I was so excited this morning to see an e-mail from a Goodreads author about reviewing her book. While I know authors probably e-mail many about reviewing their books, it was still exciting to me for the first time to be asked to review a book because she had seen MY blog and the type of books I usually read on Goodreads. Crazy!
When I first started this blog, it was purely just to write for myself. I wanted another outlet to be able to write, seeing as it is part of my profession. While it took a while for me to find my niche for this blog, I think I've got a good rhythm now. I think I had to kind of find myself along the way and when I did and put some time into, thus this blog was truly born.
It's just me, writing about my life. Nothing too exciting. But I wanted a way to look back on things I've done over the years--in particular the reading I've done. I truly love to read and am so excited to be asked to read someone's book! May this be the first of many. :)
