First, we headed to Fredericksburg for the first time in a year (literally!). We finally got our Ketubah signed by the Rabbi who married us. It was nice to see her and chat for a little bit.
Our reason for heading to Fredericksburg though was to spend time with Matt's family. His grandparents live there and his parents and siblings were visiting for the weekend. It was so nice to see all the little siblings. I haven't seen them in almost a year! Matt was lucky and got to visit Florida to see everyone and we've visited with his parents a couple times, but haven't seen the little kids in a while. They are so big now! They are little adults in some ways.
One thing that we have definitely missed this year is visiting with Clint and Celia (Matt's grandparents). They are quite possibly the sweetest people you've ever met. I just love them! We must make more of an effort to visit them more often this year.
